London: Hollywood actress Emma Watson announces support for Palestinians. Emma Watson is the heroine of the movie Harry Potter. Emma has declared solidarity with the Palestinians by sharing an old picture of a pro-Palestinian rally on Instagram. Below the picture, Emma reduced it to ‘solidarity is an action’.
Last year, Israel launched an 11-day offensive in front of Gaza. Emma shared a picture posted by ‘Bad Activism Collective’ following the attack. Bella Hadeed and Susan Sarandon came out in support of this. Emma’s post was liked by 10 lakh people.
However, 89,000 people have come out in protest. The Israeli diplomat also responded to Emma’s post. Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Gilad Erdan tweeted that fiction might be Harry Potter, but this is not the case.
