A Reddit user by the name of in/Falcon175 has uploaded a video showing his attempt to create his own version of Hollow Knight: Silksong. Made in just a few days — which is quite impressive for a beginner — the video is a pretty basic demonstration of what’s possible on Unity. We can see Hornet jumping along several platforms and eliminating familiar enemies (that we might meet in Hollow Knight).
Falcon175 explains that this project is simply intended to learn how to use the Unity engine. All elements used in the video are from the original Hollow Knight game, including Hornet’s voice, enemy design and setting, and of course Falcon175 insists that the project will not be distributed in any way. .
