“Make your own Advent calendar”

The Advent calendar keeps children waiting for Christmas Day. In the Germanic tradition, 24 days corresponded to 24 small windows or doors to be opened, behind which was hidden an image or a chocolate. You will make your own Advent calendar at the museum to be ready for the Christmas period.

Visit of the Charles Belle exhibition and discovery of the artist’s link to nature. His drawings of beets, onions or pears sit side by side with his own self-portraits, like signs of a precise moment in life and expressions of the time that passes tirelessly.
In the workshop, we make self-portraits – very natural…!
We ask each participating child to bring their photo portrait, printed in A4 format (NB or color).
