The Golkar PARTY held a plenary meeting regarding the results of the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres) and Legislative Election (Pileg). The meeting, chaired by the General Chair of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, was emphasized that it did not discuss the Golkar National Conference (Munas).
“There is no National Conference, we are talking regarding winning the presidential and legislative elections,” said Airlangga at the Golkar Party DPP Office, Slipi, West Jakarta, Sunday, (10/3).
Airlangga said the National Conference would be held in December 2024. The issue of the National Conference accelerated because the Deputy General Chair of the Golkar Party, Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet), submitted four names who would advance in the election for general chairman of his party.
The four names are Airlangga Hartarto and Bamsoet. Then, Deputy General Chairperson of the Golkar Party DPP Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita and Golkar Party politician Bahlil Lahadalia.
Airlangga said that at the meeting there was more discussion regarding Golkar’s achievements. One of them obtained vote results which were claimed to have reached 15 percent in the quick count and real count versions as well as the results of the pair Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the presidential election.
“We are also grateful that the Golkar Party which has decided to give victory to the Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran pair also has the people’s trust above 58 percent,” said Airlangga.

The Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs (Menko Ekonomi) said that currently Golkar is preparing itself to face the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections (Pilkada).
“The Golkar Party will conduct a survey for the regional elections and the form and structure of news texts. Later we will map out the preparations of the candidates and there are candidates who following the legislative elections have stated that they will continue, there are candidates who have stated that they will not continue and there are new candidates, who were in the elections yesterday “the legislative figure reaches hundreds of thousands,” explained Airlangga.
The plenary meeting was also attended by the Deputy General Chair of the Golkar Party, Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet); Deputy General Chair of the Golkar Party, Nurdin Halid; Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Golkar Party, Lodewijk Freidrich Paulus; Chairman of the Golkar Party DPP, Meutya Hafid and Ace Hasan Syadzily; as well as the Chairman of the Election Winning Body (Bappilu) of the Golkar Party DPP, Maman Abdurrahman.
