Holding an Achievement Party, Kemenpora Wants to Become a Hangout Place for Youth (doc. Kemenpora)

THE Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) wants young people to be able to be active in the Kemenpora building environment, Jakarta. One of the activities held is the Achievement Party which invites young people to be active in the Kemenpora office.

“The Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia is committed to making the Ministry area a Youth House open to the public, especially for young men and women who want to do activities or just hang out at the Ministry of Youth and Sports,” said the Special Staff of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia, Hasintya Saraswati, in her statement, Sunday (7/7).

One of the activities to invite young people to be active in the Kemenpora environment is Pesta Prestasi. This program accommodates the youth community to be creative and have fun through a series of activation activities and performances.

This program is held on the third or fourth week of every month. In July 2024, Pesta Prestasi carries the theme of Having Fun and Winning. There will be a series of activities including community activities, talk shows, music performances, and Stand Up Comedy.

“We hope that the Ministry of Youth and Sports will become a youth home so that many youth programs are regularly implemented in the office. So, many young people hang out at the Ministry of Youth and Sports,” said Hasintya.

“We also provide the widest possible platform for communities, associations, and youth organizations that want to carry out other activities outside the Ministry’s programs,” he said.

At the July Achievement Party, there will be a Stand Up Comedy performance by Rio, Gautama, Boa, and Ridwan Remin, and hosted by Rispo, and Hifdzi as the MC.

“The main objective of the Achievement Festival is of course not only to make the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports a Youth Home, but also to encourage youth empowerment through positive activities so that it can improve youth achievements,” he said.

Hasintya Saraswati wants to invite young people to work together to build a Golden Indonesia, not an Anxious Indonesia.

“The task of advancing and developing youth is our task. We must continue to bring positive messages to the youth. Let’s work together to build a Golden Indonesia, not an Anxious Indonesia,” he said. (P-5)
