The new game in the Harry Potter universe, Hogwarts Legacy, reveals itself a little more thanks to a new cutscene and a preview of character customization.

New to the game was revealed during the Autodesk Vision Series. You can then see new cutscene elements as well as an overview of the menu to customize/create your character. The new short video gives us a better idea of the quality of the in-game graphics and the storytelling of this magical new story.
A new cutscene
The new cutscene presented features two young Hogwarts students observing a trio of black magicians attacking and capturing a Hippogriff, the fantastic animal that we saw appear in the universe in the third volume of the series of books. The scene ends as one of the students leaves to take the black magicians by surprise as they seem distracted by the Hippogriff. The player character is then led to find a strategic place in height, but the scene ends here. On the other hand, we can insinuate that our character will have to do a little climbing to achieve his ends. The scene is quite beautiful and makes you look forward to the release of the game planned for the holiday season 2022.

An overview of character customization
In addition to this pretty cutscene, we were able to get a glimpse of the mode to customize your character and the options that will be available to us. Although we don’t have access to everything, we can see in the images presented a good amount of options for face shape, hair, skin color, etc. Everything you will need to make a magician in your image.
Hogwarts Legacy takes place in the 1800s, long before Harry, Ron and Hermione arrived at Hogwarts. The choice to use a time never before explored in the series should allow the Avalanche Software studio several creative freedoms. Hoping that they will be able to stay faithful to the magical universe of the series while presenting us with a whole new interesting story to discover. Fans of the Harry Potter series are already very excited for the release of the game, but it will be several more months before they can experience it fully.
