Hogwarts Legacy looks like the perfect gaming take on the famous series, and fans around the world are looking forward to its release. Less than a month away from release, the game is already a huge hit on Steam.
The popular PC platform is home to games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Fifa 23. Despite these big titles, Hogwarts Legacy has managed to take the top spot on Steam’s best-selling games list. But it did not last very long, the insanely popular Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 returned to first place again, but the adventures of wizards entrenched in second.
This list does not include free-to-play games like CS:GO and Apex Legends. When it comes to games to buy, Hogwarts Legacy is ahead of several mainstream games.
Although the game is slated for release on February 10, 2023, fans can pre-order the deluxe edition of the game for early access. The early access period starts on February 7th, giving owners of the deluxe edition a three-day head start. Hogwarts Legacy is also available on the Epic Games Store with a similar Early Access period.
Hogwarts Legacy promises a unique experience for Harry Potter fans. The franchise hasn’t had a major game release in years, but Hogwarts Legacy is set to change that. Fans will be able to take on the role of their character as they explore the Harry Potter universe. The game includes a huge open world to explore and skills such as spells and potions.
