Postponed last year to 2022, the development of the title would however go well according to the echoes collected by the informant AccountNGT and relayed by Videogames.com.

The help received by the British studio Sumo Digital would have given a real helping hand to the developer Avalanche Software and even allowed, obviously, to get ahead of the deadline.

“Another informant gave me a date and hopefully it still holds. Expect to see [Hogwarts Legacy] sooner than expected, ”AccountNGT, who is also used to sharing information on French studio Quantic Dream, said on Twitter.

Still according to the informant, another sign of the progress ofHogwarts Legacy would be the fact that Avalanche is currently looking for a local producer who will oversee a process that often takes place towards the end of a project’s development.

Localization, for those who don’t know, is the process of adapting a game to different languages and for different markets around the world.

Anyway, it would start to feel the end for Hogwarts Legacy, in a good sense, of course. However, following a first postponement last year, we can understand Warner Bros. Games to be a little more cautious regarding unveiling a new release date. It will therefore be one to watch.

Announced in September 2020, Hogwarts Legacy, which will allow gamers to create their own Hogwarts student wizard in the 1800s, is due out on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
