The Pride showcased their strength last Saturday by overcoming Duke and the EIWA rival Sacred Heart, although they faced defeat against The Citadel. standout wrestlers Justin Hoyle (141) and Ross McFarland (184) both turned in stellar performances, each finishing the day with a perfect 3-0 record. Other noteworthy contributions came from Dylan Acevedo-Switzer (125), Chase Liardi (133), and Noah Tapia (149), who all managed to secure two wins against one loss. McFarland’s exceptional performance earned him a spot in the national rankings across multiple platforms, ranking 29th on Intermat, 26th on FloWrestling, and 33rd on WrestleStat.
