Bavaria’s Munich Honorary President Uli Hoeneß has advocated a hard line in the case of top striker Robert Lewandowski willing to change expressed and still hopes for a contract extension of Poland. “If you don’t have an alternative that you think can replace him to some extent – it looks like that’s going to be difficult at the moment – then I would definitely advocate like everyone else in the clubthat he will stay another year,” said Hoeneß at Sport1.
