Hockey: Kahtrin Lehmann first woman on the board of directors of the Swiss federation

Kathrin Lehmann was elected to the Board of Directors of the Swiss Federation. Former hockey player and foootballer Kathrin Lehmann (42) is the first woman to join the SIHF Board.

One of our strategic goals is to strengthen women’s ice hockey. I can therefore only welcome the election of Kathrin Lehmann and look forward to collaborating with her“, explains in the press release the chairman of the Board of Directors Michael Rindlisbacher.

A dual Swiss and German national, Kathrin Lehmann was a professional footballer from 1999 to 2011 and has been managing partner of Sportbusiness Campus GmbH since 2014. Member of the national hockey team from 1994 to 2012 (242 matches, 113 goals, 93 assists, captain from 2007 to 2012), she was assistant coach from 2019 to 2021.
