David Pastrnak had a goal and two assists, including one on Brad Marchand’s game-winning goal, to help the Boston Bruins defeat the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-3 in overtime on Saturday night.

In a thrilling overtime period, Marchand ended the debate with eight seconds left in the overtime period.

“Pasta” opened hostilities between the two rivals in the first twenty. The Czech left Joseph Woll no chance with a powerful wrist shot.

This season, Pastrnak is showing more and more that he is more than a goal scorer. The Bruins star player served a perfect pass to Kevin Shattenkirk, who took the opportunity to double the Bruins’ lead.

Quiet until then, Auston Matthews allowed the supporters to rejoice a little. He pounced on a loose puck to score his 15th goal of the season.

Seeing that his team was still trailing by a goal at the start of the third, Max Domi found the perfect moment to unlock in his blue and white uniform. Author of 11 assists in 21 games this season, Domi escaped in front of Linus Ullmark and scored his first goal with Toronto.

Woll, however, chose the wrong moment to screw up. Believing he had made the save, Woll left the disc unattended near him. Trent Frederic said thank you very much for this gift and gave the Bruins the lead once more.

With 4.8 seconds left, Matthews caused hysteria at the Scotiabank Centre. The Leafs sniper sent the game into overtime when he beat Ullmark for the second time in the game.

The Leafs’ comeback, however, came up short. After having several scoring chances, a turnover by William Nylander opened the door for the Bruins, who did not miss a single opportunity.
