Hockey Canada says an “interim management committee” will be set up to “supervise” its activities during the transition period that begins, until the appointment of a new general manager and new board members.

The latter must be appointed by December 17 at the latest.

“The Board of Directors will not stand for this election, but will fulfill its fiduciary duties until a new Board of Directors is elected,” it said.
