In Sønderjyske, Hobro has brought in goalkeeper Jonas Dakir, who earlier in his career was noted for five super league matches for Randers FC.
27-year-old Dakir replaces Christopher Bobber Møller, who had his contract terminated earlier in the summer, and he thus strengthens the competition in goal, where Andreas Søndergaard has been clear first choice for the past six months.
– In the past we have had a clear number one and number two, but now the competition is increasing, says technical manager Lars Justesen.
Last season Jonas Dakir was one of the Nordicbet Liga’s best goalkeepers when he played for Hillerød. He has since spent a year on the bench in Sønderjyske as a reserve for the former Vendsyssel goalkeeper Nicolai Flø, and before this season he fell even further back in the queue when Jakob Busk was brought in for the newly promoted super league club.
Sønderjyske has therefore agreed to cancel Jonas Dakir’s contract so that he can switch to Hobro on a free transfer.
Seeking offensive reinforcement
Jonas Dakir has signed a three-year contract, so now Lars Justesen only has one overriding task left in the summer transfer window.
– We are looking for something for the front part of the pitch, but we have ice in our stomachs, because we know that for a club like ours, something exciting will probably arise when we get closer to closing the window, says Lars Justesen , who this summer said goodbye to midfielder Mads Freundlich and striker Richmond Gyamfi, who were sold to Silkeborg and AGF respectively.

This winter it was Jonathan Fischer, Laurs Skjellerup and Muamer Brajanac who were sold.
– I was a bit nervous when we sold our goalkeeper and both strikers this winter, but a player like Frederik Christensen has taken us all by storm. I also think we got some really good answers in our first match against Hillerød, so I’m reasonably calm about it. I just have to commend our coaching staff for always seeing opportunities.
– I think that most people can understand that Freundlich had to move on because you have seen how good he is. With Richmond, you have to remember that it was only really in the last 10 games that he burned through. Many would probably have liked to see him in Hobro for half a year more to see him redeemed even more, but it just became such a crazy case that out of respect for all parties we had to say yes to the offer from AGF, says Lars Justesen .
He won’t promise that he has sold his last player this summer.
– We are in such a good place that we are not standing on 2 September and are under pressure to sell, but there is still interest in some of our players. There are also some who deserve to go, so I actually think we can end up selling more, says Lars Justesen.
