Singer Choi Yena is answering questions at the showcase commemorating the release of her first single album ‘Love War’ held at the Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Hannam-dong, Seoul on the afternoon of the 16th.
Choi Ye-na explained, “‘Love War’ is a song with a completely different feel from the colors I’ve shown before. It’s a groovy song that expresses the time when we love but fight and hurt each other with straightforward lyrics.” She continued, “I feel similar to the Nayeon-Heedu couple in ‘Transit Romance 2’. I love you so much that I feel like we’re fighting. I haven’t seen ‘Transit Romance 2’ yet, but it’s so famous that I know all the narratives of all the couples.” .
‘Love War’ contains the process of love seen from Yena Choi’s point of view. The unrefined inner feelings and stories were expressed in Choi Yena’s own color, sometimes straightforwardly and sometimes gently.
Choi Ye-na participated in the lyrics and composition of this album, revealing her musical growth and potential as a singer-songwriter. Here, she added the musician Colde’s production to enhance her album’s completeness.
