Musical actors Kang Pil-seok, Shin Sung-rok, Lee Kyu-hyung, Jeon Mi-do, Kim Ji-hyun, and Lina are answering questions at the press call for the musical “Sweeney Todd” held at Charlotte Theater in Jamsil-dong, Seoul on the followingnoon of the 6th.
Shin Seong-rok expressed his impression of appearing in ‘Sweeney Todd’ for the first time, saying, “There are many actors around me who want to play ‘Sweeney Todd’, so I only expected it to be a very good work. I just said one word, ‘I’m happy.’ I’m feeling how happy it is as an actor to be able to belong to the most complete art.”
‘Sweeney Todd’ is an unconventional story in which ‘Benjamin Barker’, a healthy barber who took care of his wife and daughter, takes revenge once morest ‘Judge Turpin’ and the absurd world that drove him into misfortune once morest the backdrop of 19th century England full of anxiety and fear. It is a musical of the thriller genre, which depicts, and will continue to perform until March 2023.
