Hit and run in Laval: the victim succumbs to his injuries

In an interview on Benoit Dutrizac’s show, the son of Stéphane Taillon, 53, confirmed the death of his father on Friday morning, who had been the victim of a hit and run the day before in Laval.

According to Alexandre Taillon, he succumbed to his injuries around 8 a.m.

“We are all upset. We are all devastated by the news. It’s horrible what is happening. Things like that shouldn’t happen,” said Alexandre Taillon.

Recall that Thursday morning, around 7:50 a.m., the police were forced to intervene on the service road of Highway 15 North. After a collision, Stéphane Taillon got out of his vehicle. It was then that the other driver stepped on the gas, hitting him fatally.

“My father was a very sweet person,” said his son. He was really careful and wise in his driving and he never played tough. He was a really good person.”

Laval police are actively looking for a gray Hyundai Accent car produced between 2007 and 2010.
