Historic Ship: From Luxurious Cruise Liner to a Floating Refugee Home in Amsterdam

The ship, built in 1966, was initially designed as a ferry and was finally converted into a cruise ship in 1989. Up to 500 passengers might explore wonderful destinations such as the North Cape or the Caribbean on the 135 meter long vehicle. But these glorious times are apparently over: the ship, which has seven passenger decks, pool, lido bar, show lounge, cinema, boutique, library, hairdressing salon, laundry, hospital, fitness room and sauna, is now to become a floating refugee home in become Amsterdam.
