“The 24 Hours are part of Spa’s DNA, and the opposite is true,” comments Amaury Bertholome. “There is an obvious link with the region, too. It’s a great joy. The centenary is linked to local history. With SRO, we have a partner of choice. When I see what they have planned for This year, I say wow. Their program is amazing, with crazy entertainment everywhere. We’re looking forward to this edition.”

If the list is evolving and should be further expanded by the end of June, SRO has revealed a list of 24 actions which will take place as part of the event. Here is this list that we deliver to you in full.

70 cars and not one more

Stéphane Ratel also confirmed that the entry list would be limited to 70 cars. Unlike the 24 Hours of Le Mans, there will be no list of substitutes. The 70 tickets will be directly awarded by SRO following combing through the list of candidates.

“Congratulations to Laurent Gaudin for all his work”, comments Ratel. “In the end, it became something great. There are only four major 24-hour events: Daytona, Le Mans, Nürburgring and Spa-Francorchamps. And we only have one category, GT3, and we are full. It’s unique in the world, especially since we have up to eight cars on the last lap.”.
