I was very happy to have the opportunity to perform Hajj after three years of rejection due to age.. This is how the elderly Kurdish Rabbi Ali expressed her joy to perform the rituals of the fifth pillar of Islam, after a century and 3 years of her life.

Rabi Ali lives in an old house in the heights of the mountains of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, specifically in the district of Choman, and her house overlooks the highest mountain peak in Iraq, which is Mount “Hasarost” in the Iraqi-Turkish-Iranian border triangle.

Hajja Rabin Ali told Al-Arabiya.net: “I was very happy to have the opportunity to perform Hajj after three years of refusal due to age or other reasons. Finally, I will travel to perform Hajj and visit the Holy Land, thank God.”

The media official of the Hajj mission in the Kurdistan region, Karwan Stoney, confirmed to Al-Arabiya.net that the elderly Rabi Ali is the oldest pilgrims to the House of God in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, and that she obtained approval for the Hajj after the Saudi authorities lifted the age condition for those wishing to perform the Hajj.

Al-Arabiya.net also documented the image of the elderly Rabbi Ali, carrying her identification card, and the date of her birth, “the first of the seventh month of the year 1920”, is indicated on it.
