A case of widespread controversy witnessed on social networking sites, following a dispute broke out between artist Donia Samir Ghanem and producer Hisham Gamal.
The dispute arose because of Hisham Gamal, who postponed the presentation of a series in a parallel world in the next Ramadan, and instead presented a series in our house, a robot, which drew anger from Donia Samir Ghanem.
Gamal also postponed the screening of Donia Samir Ghanem’s movie “Delivering the People”, in which her late mother, Dalal Abdel Aziz, participated, and filming was completed a year and a half ago, but it has not been shown yet.
For her part, Donia unfollowed Hisham Gamal on Instagram, as a reaction to what he had done to her, which shocked her despite their strong friendship.
Comments poured in from the pioneers of social networking sites, most notably: “The places of life and salt, betrayed her.”
The comedy series, starring Donia Samir Ghanem, was postponed following it was supposed to be shown in the Ramadan race last year.
The artist, Donia Samir Ghanem, was absent from the Ramadan drama in 2020 and 2021, as her last work was the series “Badal Al-Hadouta 3” in Ramadan 2019.
