Hisense ranked No. 2 in TV shipments worldwide for the third consecutive quarter

Qingdao, China (ots/PRNewswire) According to the leading market research institute Omdia, the global home appliance group Hisense shipped the second-largest quantity of televisions worldwide in the second quarter of 2023.

This is the third consecutive financial quarter in which the Omdia report, which shows the share of the world’s largest TV makers in total shipments, ranked Hisense second. Hisense also ranked second throughout 2022 and the first half of 2023.

In the second quarter of 2023, Hisense achieved a 13.7% global TV volume share, and shipments increased by 19.3% year-on-year. That growth was well above the industry average, which was just 5.3%. Hisense was also the brand with the largest year-over-year increase in market share, growing 1.6 percentage points.
