This Thursday, April 7, France 3 is broadcasting an unpublished documentary on Claude Nougaro. During his career, the singer crossed paths with Maurane. If it was not won in advance, the two artists finally bonded with a tender friendship.
She was his biggest fan. By embarking on a career as a singer, from the age of 16, Maurane wanted to follow in the footsteps of Claude Nougaro. Since then, the young artist was ready for anything to win the singer’s favor, highlighted in the documentary The dream life of Nougaro broadcast this Thursday, April 7 on France 3. And to get the attention of family father, Maurane spared no effortas she revealed in an interview with Paris Match in September 2009. “I had the misfortune to tell him once that he was a master for me“. And to add: “When I was young, I had managed to get his phone number. I had such a nerve at the time that I called him. I was chasing him with the tapes of my songs. Also, he didn’t like it at all. He threw me away like a mess.”
