Abu Dhabi, 6 October / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received today Senator Joni Ernst, a member of the United States Senate, and the accompanying delegation.
The meeting, which took place at Al-Shati Palace, discussed the relations of friendship and strategic cooperation between the UAE and the United States at all levels and ways to advance them in a way that serves the common interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples.
The two sides also discussed a number of issues related to regional security and joint work to consolidate stability and peace in the Middle East region and the entire world for the benefit of the development, progress and prosperity of its peoples.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Special Affairs Advisor at the Presidential Office, His Excellency Yousef Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to the United States of America, and the delegation accompanying the US Senator.
