His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi’s Message to Sharjah Clubs: Subsidies Linked to Community Service and National Members

SHARJAH, 23 August / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, sent a message to the Emirate’s clubs, during which he confirmed that inspections are being carried out to find out what is happening inside each club, and that the subsidies are conditional on increasing the number of national members over the past year. The amounts of subsidies will be measured by the community services provided by the club, praising the diligence of the Kalba Club.

His Highness announced that work is underway to establish Dibba Al-Hisn Club, and sports centers will be built for Kalba and Khorfakkan clubs, at a cost of 40 million dirhams for one center.

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi said: “We have clubs that take large sums of money and their return to society is weak, and we asked the officials to involve our children in these clubs, and we linked providing the subsidy to the clubs with the implementation of this matter, and indeed the implementation was done, perhaps with reluctance on the part of some, but we do not We only care about serving the community, and now we enter every club and search, and see what it offers, because this place includes a society that is not entirely foreign, but rather our children and youth are present in it, and we must pay attention to them.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah continued, saying: “We have a diligent Kalba Club, and we measure the matter not by the number of members, but by the number of citizens among the members and by the community services provided by the club. We thank him for this diligence, and we add a load to it and reward the club; if the club has debts, we will pay them, but when we do that we want in return a community service, as we do not give money to clubs in honor without knowing what was spent.”

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi went on to say: “We send a message to the Sharjah clubs and tell them that the account is difficult, and know that the subsidy is conditional on increasing the number of citizens from last year, and it will be measured by your community activities, and you will be held accountable for what you offer to society.”

Regarding the Sharjah Sports Council, His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah, said: “We call upon the Sharjah Sports Council, and we hope that it will hear us and spare us from the trouble, and we tell it that all those who registered in the club have a specialization that they work with. Who plays football and another basketball, and so on. We have Al-Bataeh, Maliha and Al-Madam clubs, all of which have complete facilities, and they have complete sports centers, and we are now building Dibba Al-Hisn Club and it will be complete in all respects, and we will build a sports center for Kalba Club and another for Khorfakkan Club, and the cost of each sports center will be 40 One million dirhams, and this is not too much for our children who will participate in these centers, and we hope that the officials in the clubs will strive .. and we wish success to all, and safety for the sons and daughters of this society.
