His Excellency Engineer Awaidah Murshid Al Marar Crowns Winners at the Al Dhafra Festival: Camel Auction and Competition Highlights

His Excellency Engineer Awaidah Murshid Al Marar, Chairman of the Department of Energy in Abu Dhabi, crowned the winners of the camel auction for the radio age and the mahaleb competition at the Al Dhafra Festival in its seventeenth session, in the presence of a number of officials, senior camel owners, and the audience of auctions and heritage competitions from the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council, as part of the eighth day’s competitions, which 125 valuable prizes were allocated to her.

The competitions in the radio session of Their Highnesses the Sheikhs – Local, resulted in “Bint Al-Rih”, owned by Sheikh Khalifa bin Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, winning first place, “Haqawi”, owned by Sheikh Faleh Nasser Ali Al Thani, in second place, and “Dadha”, owned by Sheikh Faleh Nasser Ali Al Thani, in third place. In the local milking competition, for which 40 valuable prizes worth one million and 200 thousand dirhams were allocated, the first place in the Orabi round was won by the sweeteners of the camel “Al-Rathma” owned by its owner Saeed Salem, weighing 75 kilograms and 700 grams, and the first place in the Orabi round of sweeteners Sharaya went to “Khatira” by its owner. Muhammad Musleh Muhammad Al-Ahbabi, weighing 86 kilograms and 900 grams.

The first place in the Talad local Khawair race went to “Al-Dhula” owned by Ghanem Muhammad Bakhit Al-Hamar Al-Kathiri, weighing 93 kilograms and 800 grams. In the Sharaya local Khaware race, the first place was won by the she-camel “Shamtaira” for its owner, His Excellency Ahmed Muhammad Suhail, with Al-Hatham Al-Amiri and the she-camel. Al-Jassi” was owned by its owner, Suhail bin Saeed bin Muslim Zainout, following they tied at the track weight, which amounted to 107 kilograms and 200 grams.
