Sony has made a strange social media post regarding Bloodborne, and many are hoping the company is preparing some sort of announcement. As many know, this game remains one of FromSoftware’s most popular titles, which is saying a lot given the success of Elden Ring, but Sony owns the rights to Bloodborne. This means that Sony might theoretically do things without FromSoftware, but at the same time, the company might not want to.
Bloodborne topics appear online every few weeks, often without any comment from either Sony or FromSoftware. Given the strangeness of the message, it’s hard not to see something special regarding it.
The message is quite simple as shown below. Sony asked if fans might see it and wondered if they knew which PlayStation game’s cover had been enlarged. It’s immediately clear that this is Bloodborne, but why was this post made – that’s the question that everyone asks. Despite the popularity of Bloodborne, it never received a sequel, was not ported to PC, and was not updated for PS5 consoles. A sequel is unlikely, but two other possibilities are not excluded.
After all, many Sony games have made their way to PC, like Marvel’s Spider-Man games, and even more games have received a quality and performance update for PS5. Games like The Last of Us have even been redesigned for her. Will hope it means something.
