Hindu thugs attacked the house of a Muslim family, tortured the family, set fire to the house

In the home district of the Chief Minister of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, the goons attacked the house of a Muslim family with great courage, brutally tortured the family and set the house on fire.

The worst incident of hooliganism has occurred in Akona district of Madhya Pradesh, the home district of the state’s home minister.

In a village about 15 km from the district headquarters, armed miscreants attacked a Muslim family with sticks, sticks and iron rods, later setting the house on fire.

According to the police, the head of the said family is an agricultural laborer and lives with his wife Bismillah Nut and sister-in-law Sajna Nut. They have alleged that persons named Raja Bhaya Gujjar, Rampal Gujjar, Ramavatar Gujjar and Billy Gujjar entered their house and assaulted them.

The said persons entered the house and brutally tortured the family members and set the house on fire while leaving.

According to the FIR filed with the police, the victims have a land dispute with the attackers. The police say that the accused had verbally quarreled with the Muslim family and had threatened them, the victims had lodged a complaint with the police earlier but there was no hearing.

After the incident, the local residents informed the police, after which the police reached the spot and shifted the injured to the hospital. The police immediately arrested the accused.

Dhirpur police station in-charge Ashutosh Sharma says that considering the seriousness of the case, raids were conducted after which the four accused were arrested.

After the incident, there is tension in the village and heavy police force has been deployed to deal with any untoward situation. Datia Superintendent of Police Aman Singh Rathore said that the village has a mixed population, so all kinds of precautions have been taken.

Earlier also in the same district, a Dalit family was attacked in a similar manner in which miscreants tortured a Dalit family and set their house on fire. The accused in the said incident are still absconding.
