NEW YORK (AP) — Hillary Clinton said Tuesday that she has tested positive for COVID-19 and is showing “mild” symptoms.

On social networks, the former Secretary of State and former Democratic candidate for the presidency of the United States reported that she “felt well” and that her husband, former President Bill Clinton, had tested negative for the virus and was in quarantine until his home was totally clean.

A spokesman for the former president tweeted that he will continue testing in the coming days.

Hillary Clinton, 74, said she was “more grateful than ever for the protection that vaccines can offer once morest serious illness” and urged people to get vaccinated and get their booster doses.

A few weeks ago, former President Barack Obama announced that he had tested positive for the coronavirus.
