Highway Patrol Reports Two Vehicle Crash on Hwy 200 Near Bowdon, ND

BOWDON, N.D. (NDHP) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol responded to a two vehicle crash on Hwy 200 regarding 10 miles east of Bowdon on Friday, February 9th regarding 10:15 AM Central time.

The Highway Patrol said a 1999 Kenworth semi-truck hauling a trailer, entered Highway 200 from 45th Ave NE and was driving westbound on Highway 200. A 2007 Chevy Silverado was also westbound. The driver of the Silverado 44-year-old Eric Hvinden of Maddock failed to see the slower moving Kenworth semi-truck and rear ended the trailer of the Kenworth. The driver of the Silverado (Hvinden) sustained non-life threatening injuries from the crash and was transported by Carrington ambulance to the Carrington Saint Alexius Hospital and was then transported to the Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND. The driver of the Kenworth 67-year-old Kenneth Risovi from Harvey was not injured in the crash. This crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
