Highschool of the Dead anime will leave Netflix catalog in April — Kudasai

The platform Netflix updated its content catalog confirming that the anime adaptation of the manga written by Daisuke Satou and illustrated by Shouji Satou, Highschool of the Deadwill leave the catalog of Netflix in Latin America on April 1. the OVA, Highschool of the Dead: Drifters of the Deadwill also be removed from the catalog in question.

Daisuke Satou and Shouji Satou they started publishing the manga through the magazine Dragon Comics Age from the publisher Kadokawa in September 2006. The work went on hiatus between 2008 and 2010, but following March 2011 only one chapter was published in April 2013. Later the series would remain unfinished following the death of the writer Daisuke Satou in March 2017, leaving the work with seven compilation volumes.

The play inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by studios. Madhouseunder the direction of Tetsurou Araki and with scripts written by Yousuke Kurodareleased in July 2010. Both Netflix, HIDIVE and Amazon Prime Video they maintain distribution rights in the West.

They are joined by Saeko Busujima, the beautiful president of the Kendo Club; Kouta Hirano, an otaku with a fetish for firearms; Saya Takagi, the daughter of an influential politician; and Shizuka Marikawa, her sexy school nurse. But will the combined strength of these individuals be enough to defeat this undead apocalypse?
