Highlighting the Historic Walking Path of Old Patras Germanos

The event that will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024 in the morning at I.M. Makellarias Kalavryton, includes three (3) standard hiking routes (Petroto – Moira / Demestikha – I.M. Makellarias and Kalavryta – I.M. Makellarias), speech by Mr. Meletis H. Meletopoulos – history, performance of hymns and folk songs by the school of Byzantine music “Kosmas the Melodos”, presentation of the event’s new logo by Konstantakopoulos and Christos Falieros and traditional dances by the dance group of the Cultural Association of Skepastos Kalavryta and the Dance Center of Patras.

An exhibition of the Northern Peloponnese Protected Areas Management Unit / O.F.Y.PE.K.A. will be installed at the event site. with exhibits (flora, rocks, photographic material, etc.) from the Helmou-Vouraikou Geopark, the Panachaiko mountain and other neighboring areas.

Live the unique experience of nature and get to know the historical / cultural heritage of your area.

The transport of hikers and those who wish to be transported directly to the event site will be carried out by buses provided free of charge by the organizers.
