In the end, the government decided to ban the online sale of rapid antigen test kits from tomorrow and limit the purchase quantity to five per person.

Starting tomorrow, you can only buy up to five COVID-19 self-test kits at a time at pharmacies and convenience stores.

However, we have decided not to prevent ‘duplicate purchases’ where the same person buys multiple times.

As we are supplying 3.5 million masks a day, the government judges that the shortage is not as serious as in the past shortage of masks.

Online transactions, which took a long time to deliver and prices skyrocketed, are temporarily restricted.

You can sell until the 16th, but sales are prohibited from the 17th onwards.

Manufacturers have to supply in bulk packs of 20 or more for rapid production and efficient delivery, and have retailers sell them individually.

In order to respond to domestic demand first, export volumes must be pre-approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

The government announced that such measures to stabilize the supply of test kits will be implemented for three weeks until the 5th of next month.

As of 00:00 today, there were 54,941 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, an all-time high, 1,15 more than yesterday, and it is around 50,000 for three days in a row.

It has more than tripled from two weeks ago and is spreading rapidly.

The number of critically ill patients is 275, staying in the 200 range for a fortnight in a row, and the nationwide utilization rate of critically ill beds remains stable at 20.1 percent.

Quarantine authorities anticipate that the increase in the number of confirmed cases will continue from the end of this month to the beginning of next month, when the followingmath of the Lunar New Year holiday last year.
