Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ready to sell Brazilian superstar Neymar. Neymar’s market price is reduced. Spanish media outlet ‘Fichahis’ reports that Christophe Galtier’s team have begun efforts to find a replacement.
It is reported that the club says that the high wages are behind Neymar’s sale, even though he has a contract until 2025. PSG were ready to sell Neymar last season as well. But no one came forward because of the huge sum of 150 million euros. This time the club is also ready to reduce the price.
PSG are expecting a price of between €50m and €60m for the 30-year-old. Reports also suggest that three Premier League clubs are eyeing Neymar. Teams like Newcastle United, Chelsea and Manchester City are trying to get Neymar. But there were earlier reports that French striker Kylian Mbappe asked to sell Neymar.
It was reported that Mbappe threatened to leave the club if Neymar was not released. The animosity between the two stars is a public affair. In 2017, Neymar was brought to PSG from Spanish club Barcelona for a record fee of 222 million euros.
