After the end of the 2019 Taiwan Skirt Swing LPGA event, due to the continuous impact of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) in 2020-2022, the Skirt Swing Golf Foundation is still actively involved in the preparation of the event and paying considerable certification fees , but the event was still suspended for three years due to the epidemic.
During this period, the Skirt Shake Golf Foundation has been actively contacting with major domestic sponsors to analyze how to break through the limit of the scale of this event and make it more exciting. At the same time, the most difficult thing for our tournament organizers is that there are currently very limited courses in Taiwan that are certified by the LPGA and are suitable for the competition, and the funding requirements of these certified venues are different from the norm. The LPGA Headquarters was very surprised. Coupled with some legal issues, many variables were added to the preparation of the event.
After fully communicating with the Skirt Shake Golf Foundation, the LPGA Headquarters focused on the stability and continuity of LPGA events in Asia, and also considered the current difficulties in the Taiwan event environment.
