Addis Ababa, August 19, 2020, WAM/ The news of the visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, to Ethiopia topped the interests of the Ethiopian newspapers and media issued today, stressing that the visit of His Highness the President of the State to Ethiopia reflects the strength of relations between the two countries in various fields, noting He pointed out that the growing relations between the two countries are rooted in mutual respect and a common vision.
The Ethiopian Monitor newspaper said that the signing of a set of agreements by the UAE and Ethiopia in a number of fields reflects the desire of the two countries to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation, especially through sustainable development initiatives.
The newspaper indicated that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed were keen, during their bilateral meeting, to stress the importance of strengthening relations between Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates. They also expressed the commitment of the two countries to building stronger bridges for the benefit of both peoples.
As for the Addis Standard newspaper, it stressed the strength of relations between the UAE and Ethiopia, noting the keenness of Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed to stress that the growing relations between the two countries are rooted in deep mutual respect and a common vision for mutual progress, stressing the continuation of cooperation and the pursuit of sustainable development.
In the same context, a report by African Business website emphasized the importance of the agreements signed yesterday in the presence of His Highness, the President of the State, may God protect him, and the Ethiopian Prime Minister, noting that the agreements aim to enhance cooperation, develop partnerships, and diversify participation in various fields to advance development and prosperity in both countries.
