Furious initial phase

In the first game in the old living room, the Young Violets started like a shot. The high tempo surprised opponents and spectators early in the game. Philip Hosiner checked the attention of the former Austria Amateure goalie Günther Arnberger, now on duty for the guests, immediately following kick-off!

In the 12th minute, Jungvioletchen had their first big chance, passed through the middle and Rocco Sutterlütty pushed the ball just wide of the goal! Two minutes later, another wide pass to the super-nimble Sutterlütty, this time he put it down in an exemplary manner and Captain Hosiner shot the ball to take a 1-0 lead. The previously inconspicuous guests only failed in the 22nd minute at Jusic, but Schobesberger scored in the subsequent stabbing to make it 1:1. Our Violets in person weren’t impressed by Sutterlüty. The returnee from Donaufeld outplayed several opponents in the center and, in return for the equaliser, scored the lead once more! If the spectators thought they were already in the half-time break, it was Sanel Saljic who flicked the ball into the long corner with a lot of feeling for the deserved 3:1 half-time lead. Dream gate brand!

Strong fight in the second half

The second half started much more balanced and little by little the game developed into an open exchange of blows. In the 54th minute, Sutterlütty put the ball on the post before Jungvioletchen-Goalie hit the other side Kenan Jusic might stage twice. The guests lacked ideas, the young violets were more cautious than in the first part of the game, so it should take until injury time before Jusic was able to excel once more and sealed the 3:1 final score.

In the end, the Violets deserved their first home win in the East Regional League. Next week the violets are guests at FC Marchfeld Donauauen.
