A possibly armed man is circulating in the Lac-Bouchette sector, in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, according to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), which asks the population to stay at home.
“If you are in this area, do not approach the subject, lock the doors, stay away from the windows, leave the area if it is safe to do so”, indicated the SQ on Twitter.

According to information from the police, it would be André Paradis, a resident of the sector.
“The police officers of the Sûreté du Québec have reason to fear for his health and safety,” said the SQ in a press release.
