Hidrobolívar carried out repairs in the South West Aqueduct

With the objective of increasing the operation of the plant, Hidrobolívar carried out a scheduled 36-hour shutdown this Saturday, the 14th, to correct a fracture in the 42-inch pipe.

Jean Carlos Duque, Operations Manager of the Caroní municipality, reported that the purpose of this maneuver is to improve the supply to the sectors belonging to 40% of the Unare parish, which are supplied with drinking water through the South West Aqueduct.

In this way, the Bolívar state hydrological plant will continue to benefit the following sectors: Core 8, Villa Jade, Villa Bahía, Villa Icabarú, Sierra Parima, Riberas del Caroní, Las Amazonas, El Caimito and surrounding areas, they reported in a press release.
