Did you know that Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake is not the original title of the game?
Hideo Kojima recently revealed some interesting facts regarding Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake released in 1990 for MSX2.
Kojima revealed that during the game’s development [Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake] At first, he had the idea of renaming the title for the game to be the same as the Indiana Jones movie, which was the only protagonist’s name. In other words, prior to Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Kojima had plans for the game to be called Solid Snake.

however Konami’s commercial department insisted that the game be called Metal Gear 2, so Kojima eventually renamed the game Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, which Konami loved the title. and finally give the green light
If Metal Gear 2 was actually renamed Solid Snake, we might have seen another Metal Gear Solid title instead. Which is considered an interesting fact that fans of this family of games may not have known before.
