The Lebanese Hezbollah announced, on Tuesday, that it had targeted 6 Israeli army sites and points off the southern Lebanese border.

The party said in separate statements that its fighters targeted “Israeli artillery positions in (the area of) Khirbet Maar opposite the Lebanese town of Al-Bustan, the site of Hadab Yaron and the site of the monk Zarit Barracks (the occupied Lebanese village of Tarbikha), with appropriate weapons and achieved direct hits.” .

He also announced the targeting of Israeli soldiers’ deployment points in the vicinity of the Jal al-Alam site, opposite the Lebanese town of Shebaa, and the Hadab Yaron site, with appropriate weapons, and he was directly hit.

Earlier Tuesday, Hezbollah said it targeted the Israeli site of Al-Malikiyah, opposite the Lebanese border, and achieved a “direct hit.”

On the other hand, a shell fired by the Israeli army fell between the outskirts of the Lebanese towns of Houla and Mays al-Jabal, according to the official Lebanese News Agency.

The agency explained that the Israeli artillery bombardment also targeted the vicinity of the towns of Naqoura, Jabal al-Labouneh, and Alma al-Shaab in the western sector of southern Lebanon.

In solidarity with the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, Hezbollah and Palestinian factions in Lebanon have exchanged daily bombardments with the Israeli army since last October 8. Which resulted in deaths and injuries on both sides.

Since October 7, the Israeli army has been waging a devastating war on Gaza, which as of Tuesday evening has left 18,412 dead and 50,100 wounded, most of them children and women, according to Palestinian sources, and massive destruction of infrastructure and an “unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe,” according to the United Nations.
