Israeli media say that “Israel will not be able to return the prisoners and continue the war without the help of the Americans,” and indicate that Sayyed Nasrallah is watching and waiting for the appropriate moment to act.

The military correspondent for the Israeli Channel 12, Nir Dvory, said, “Nasrallah is watching and waiting. He sees us overwhelmed and is waiting for the right moment to act.”

The state of frustration and anxiety continues among the settlers as a result of the lack of security protection for the northern settlements, and fear of the resistance strikes and operations in Lebanon, which caused a large displacement movement from the northern Israeli settlements.

Yesterday, the mayor of the Kiryat Shmona settlement, Avichai Stern, criticized the Israeli occupation government’s handling of the tense situation on the border with Lebanon, confirming that casualties occur on a daily basis due to Hezbollah strikes.

The Israeli media acknowledged earlier that Hezbollah every time “surprises Israel in the types of ammunition used,” adding that “there is no day or night in the north without explosions, and it is very difficult to live there.”

Israeli media: We may reach a point of weakness that we have never seen before without Washington’s help

In another context, the military correspondent on the Israeli Channel 12 said, “Israel will not be able to return the prisoners and continue the war without the help of the Americans, which has a price in return.”

He believed that “if a coalition is not built with the Americans and other countries, which is difficult, we may reach a point of weakness that we have never seen before.”

Earlier, White House Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby claimed that “America has reservations regarding the Israeli military operation in Gaza,” noting that “US President Joe Biden expressed his concern regarding Israel’s pledges to reduce the number of casualties.”

A few days ago, the British magazine “The Economist” said that “Israel has no choice but to reduce its attack,” noting that “the United States, its main ally and arms supplier, insists on lower levels of firepower.”

In a related context, Israeli media said that the ground invasion itself “will not achieve Israel’s goals in the war on Gaza,” in addition to that the time frame set for the operation – a few weeks – will not result in an “important achievement” such as the defeat of Hamas or the release of prisoners.
