The Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah claimed responsibility this Saturday for eight attacks with projectiles and missiles against Israeli troops in a new intense day of crossfire in the midst of Israel‘s war and invasion in southern Lebanon.
The armed formation indicated in several statements that its fighters launched during the early hours of this morning “barrays” of projectiles against “soldier concentrations” and an “Israeli enemy” position in Kfar Giladi, Honin, Al Jardah, Zarit and Melia.
The “mujahideen (fighters) of the Islamic Resistance” also attacked with missiles “a Zionist military excavator that was trying to leave the vicinity of the Ramya site,” he said.
Another attack with “a series of qualitative missiles” targeted “an explosive material factory” at a military base in Haifa, in northern Israel, Hezbollah assured, and reiterated that these launches are “in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza, and in defense of Lebanon and its people.”
Bombing
Meanwhile, Israeli air strikes continue against towns in southern Lebanon, where a three-story building “was completely destroyed” in Kawthariya al Siyad, in Tyre, according to the Lebanese National News Agency, NNA, which did not report. victims.
Israel and Hezbollah have been facing each other on the divide for a year, a confrontation that in recent weeks has risen to another level with an intense Israeli bombing campaign against Lebanon, including Beirut, which has left more than 2,200 dead and 1, 2 million displaced.
Order
This Saturday, the Israeli Army ordered the evacuation of 22 towns in southern Lebanon to fight the Shiite militia Hezbollah in the area and asked the civilian population to move north of the Awali River.
“Hezbollah activity forces the Israel Defense Forces to take action. The IDF does not seek to harm you. For your safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately. “Anyone who is close to members of Hezbollah, its facilities or its weapons puts their lives in danger,” warned a message from the Arabic spokesman for the Israeli Army, Avichay Adraee.
Las locales don’t recommend the evacuation of Aita al-Shaab, Ramiyah, Yater, Qozah, Beit Lev, Hanin, Rashaf, Ainta, Al Qalila, Al Hush, Nabaa, Toulin, Al Tamriyah, Al Khiyam, Al Khirbet, Kafr Hamam, Arab Al Louizeh, Abu Zablah, Jabal Al Adas, Dahr Beriyat Jaber, Kafra, Ramadiyeh and Zebqin.
The spokesman urged the Lebanese population not to return to their homes until “conditions are adequate” and warned that any movement to the south “poses a danger to their lives.”
In a previous message, Adraee called on Lebanese medical teams and ambulances not to transport Hezbollah fighters and accused the group of using them to camouflage and move in hiding.
“We ask medical teams to avoid contact with Hezbollah members and not cooperate with them,” he said.
More evacuations
The Israeli Army this Saturday ordered new evacuations in Gaza, which now affect the entire northern part of the enclave up to the gates of the capital of the Palestinian strip, where fighting has intensified due to the regrouping of Hamas.
“The Israel Defense Forces are operating aggressively against terrorist organizations in the area and will continue to do so for a long time. The designated area, including the shelters, is a dangerous combat zone and must be evacuated immediately,” reported army Arabic spokesman Avichay Adraee.
Israel resumed the ground military offensive in the north of the enclave this week and extended evacuation orders for its main towns, including the Jabalia refugee camp, one of the most densely populated areas of the Strip and where Gazans were returning after being destroyed even a year ago.
Everything indicates that Gaza City will be the next objective of the Israeli offensive in the northern half of the enclave, where more than 70% of the homes are destroyed.
