It came home:

Political circles at Al Diyar saw that the rift was broken between Hezbollah and the head of the Free Patriotic Movement, Gebran Bassil, as the relationship became bad between the two parties following Hezbollah felt that Bassil did not act as an ally and did not understand the political position of the resistance and the need to support candidate Suleiman Franjieh. Nor did Hezbollah accept that the Free Patriotic Movement intersected with the opponents of the “party” once morest it, and proceeded to support the former minister, Jihad Azour, as a presidential candidate in the June 14th session.

These circles saw the impossibility of the return of the arteries of the relationship between the “party” and MP Gebran Bassil to what it was previously, except in one case, which is the transition of Hezbollah from one stage of Franjieh to another. She added that if Hezbollah wants to deal pragmatically with matters, it needs the support of the Free Patriotic Party, since Basil wanted to show the party that the latter had lost two basic factors, which are the Christian cover and a parliamentary bloc that constitutes a numerical addition to it. Therefore, Bassil went to the intersection with the opposition to send a clear message to Hezbollah that it cannot take steps without it, and the Free Patriotic Movement constitutes a basic need for the party, and therefore, the party must guarantee Bassil’s interest and not condone it.
