Lionel Messi has come under heavy criticism following PSG’s exit from the UEFA Champions League. In the round of 16, he played two matches once morest Bayern Munich, but the player was unable to do much. Then PSG fans began to hunt Messi to shout and criticize.
But former PSG star Jerome Rothen has come forward saying that those who boo Messi should also mock his teammate Marco Verratti.
Rothen said that Verratti has been at PSG for the last 10 years and that he is still not serious enough. Rothan said that they are very disappointed in his case.
‘Marco Verratti, he’s been at PSG for 10 years. Verratti is a man who does not pay enough attention to competitions. There is no sincerity in work. We are so disappointed that you can boo and mock him too,’ Rothen said.
Marco Verratti joined the Parisian club in 2012. He has won 29 major trophies for PSG, including eight League One titles.
