Wilfried Kanga leaves the Young Boys of Bern (1st Swiss division), despite a contract valid until 2024. The 24-year-old Ivorian striker joins Hertha Berlin, where he has signed up for four years.
Young Boys should receive 5 million euros for this transfer. The former Parisian arrived in Bern last summer from Kayserispor in (Turkish D1). Author of 15 goals in all competitions last season, he has shown great form since the start of the 2022/23 financial year with 3 goals in 2 Super League days.
“Hertha is the club that wanted me the most. I feel like I’m needed here. It’s a great club that offers all the conditions for me to continue my development.” explained Kanga on the website of his new club.
