Former South African international Herschel Gibbs has been appointed as the mentor of the Kuwait cricket team. The Kuwait cricket team will get the services of Gibbs for the Gulf Cricket T20I Championship and the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifiers.
Earlier, Gibbs was the head coach of the Kuwait team. The matches will be held in Doha on September 13. Malayalee players such as Shiraz Khan, Muhammad Shafiq and Clinto Velukaran are also playing for the Kuwaiti national team.
