Cosplay, e-sport and video games will be in the spotlight this weekend, at HeroFest, at BernExpo.

“Gaming fans or novices, children, teenagers or adults, all visitors to the HeroFest will experience an action-packed weekend, with a number of activities and stands never before seen. Everyone will find what they are looking for by living an adventure in the world of gaming and fantasy,” enthuses Cédric Schlosser, one of the organizers of the event which will be held from Friday to Sunday at BernExpo.

Many cosplayers will be present at HeroFest all weekend.

It will be possible to interact with more than 70 artists from fantasy or the world of anime, in particular to have their portrait drawn.

Video games

“The Gaming Area will be not to be missed. It’s a very large space, where it will be possible to play a wide variety of video games for free on PC or consoles, for all tastes,” explains Cédric Schlosser.

What’s new

“Many games will be presented before their release, including the highly anticipated Nintendo titles “Super Mario Bros. Wonder,” “Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown,” and “Sonic Superstars.” It will be possible to play it for free. Without forgetting new developments in hardware or virtual reality.”

E-sports

Like every year, HeroFest will be the culmination of e-sport competitions in Switzerland, with the national finals on “Counter-Strike” and “Brawl Stars”, which will take place on stage on Saturday. There will even be an “Age of Empires 2” competition.

“Visitors will be able to interact with numerous cosplayers, more than 70 fantasy or anime artists or even the French-speaking TikToker Geocadiias,” concludes Cédric Schlosser.

Reduced prices Friday and for families

Entrance tickets ordered in advance cost 32 francs per day per adult on Saturday and Sunday, and 24 francs for children under sixteen. On Friday, tickets cost 19 francs and 10 francs respectively. Entrance is free every day for children under 9 years old. On Sunday, a family ticket for 55 francs allows two adults and up to three children under 16 to enjoy HeroFest. On site, tickets cost 5 francs more. Food stalls will offer varied specialties.
