India’s largest two-wheeler company, Hero MotoCorp, has announced a hike in the prices of its scooters and bikes. The new price will be effective in India soon. It is reported that the price will go up to 1000 rupees. The company attributed the price hike to inflation. The company has also stated that the measure has been taken to partially offset the impact of inflation.
Notably, this price hike comes at a time when most automakers are offering great offers and discounts on their products. The company has increased the prices for all the models. Hero MotoCorp currently has fourteen motorcycles ranging from Rs 55,450 to Rs 1,36,378 (ex-showroom) and four scooters ranging from Rs 66,250 to Rs 77,078 (ex-showroom) in the Indian market.
