In his second cycle as coach of Deportes Tolima, Hernán Torres led a total of 178 games with a balance of 76 wins, 62 draws and 40 losses. He achieved the third star in the first half of 2021 and won the 2022 Super League; however, he lost two consecutive league finals against Deportivo Cali (2021-II) and Atlético Nacional (2022-I).
In dialogue with El Corrillo de Mao de Cali, Hernán Torres touched on various topics including his future; However, the former Millonarios coach left spicy statements in relation to the recent scandal that splashed Junior de Barranquilla after the acts of indiscipline that led to the departure of Luis el Chino Sandoval.
